How to reserve your Australian Labradoodle puppy
To secure a puppy on our reservation list, you must have an approved adoption application, along with a $500 non-refundable reservation fee. Puppy selection takes place at 7-weeks old.
The final installment of $3000 is required by the time the puppy reaches 6 weeks of age. For those acquiring a puppy ready to be taken home, payment must be made in advance via our preferred electronic platform. Should you prefer to pay with a personal check, please be advised that you will have to wait for the check to clear before collecting your puppy.
Our Australian Labradoodle Puppy Matching
We will pair you with puppies who align best with your family, as discerned by your application, your family profile, and your interview. Secondarily, we consider your preferences for the puppy’s color and gender. Our goal is to ensure a harmonious match between our puppies and their new families. This optimizes the likelihood of success. For instance, if your family leads a tranquil lifestyle, a highly energetic puppy may not be suitable, regardless of its color. Conversely, if you’re inclined towards outdoor activities and adventures, a more subdued puppy might not be the best fit, irrespective of its gender.
By the time the puppies are 6-7 weeks old, we will have a good understanding of their individual personalities and will strive to meet all your criteria. Should aesthetic matches not be found within the current litter, you may defer your reservation to a subsequent litter at the time you receive your litter invitation, without forfeiting your $500 reservation fee. Your reservation fee is valid for 2 years from the date it is received.
Receiving your Australian Labradoodle puppy
We are located in central North Carolina, and easily accessible for NC residents and those living in the surrounding states. You are invited to collect your puppy directly from our home. For out-of-state customers arriving by air, we can arrange a meeting at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). To ensure a comfortable journey for both you and your puppy, we will prepare your puppy for travel in a soft-sided airline carrier before you take her home. For an extra charge, our dear friend and professional flight nanny can meet you at your local airport. We strive to be accommodating in facilitating the adoption of a River Days puppy, so please discuss any necessary arrangements with us. We do not offer cargo shipping, as this is not in our puppies’ best interest.
Social responsibility
Each River Days Australian Labradoodle puppy is provided with a contract that encompasses various terms, including a mandatory Spay/Neuter agreement that we strictly enforce. Our trusted veterinarian advises against early spay and neuter (ESN) procedures for the puppies’ health, and we adhere to this guidance.
We are committed to placing our puppies in loving, permanent homes. Our contract explicitly states that our puppies/dogs should never be surrendered to a shelter. If you must give up the dog, it will be returned to River Days Australian Labradoodles or River Days may support a re-homing scenario.
We, the breeders, reserve the right to conduct thorough checks to ensure that our puppies are adopted by families who will put their safety and well-being first. We may, at our discretion, decline an adoption at any point if we have concerns about the puppy’s safety or welfare.
