We are elated to announce the return of one of our favorite pairings, Isla and Brody.
Some pairings leave a lasting impression, and Isla and Brody are one of them. After watching two previous litters grow up and step into their families as joyful, affectionate, deeply connected companions, we knew we wanted to bring this pairing together again. The relationships we’ve built with these families and the ongoing updates we receive from them have made this pairing especially meaningful to us.
Isla is a ray of sunshine. Born here at River Days to our beloved Luna and Beso, she carries forward not only beautiful Australian Labradoodle structure, but also a naturally joyful and social way of moving through the world. She is playful, affectionate, and confident, greeting people and dogs with ease. While she loves making new friends wherever she goes, Isla is deeply bonded to her family.
Brody complements her beautifully. He is a cherished member of our family and lives in our home, sharing daily life with us in a very real and present way. Whether he is joining us on outings, playing fetch, or settling at home, Brody brings a steady, grounded presence and an easy connection with people. As a Certified Therapy Dog, he has a calm confidence and emotional sensitivity that we value deeply, and he consistently passes that same people-focused temperament on to his puppies.
Across both previous litters, we’ve seen remarkably consistent outcomes: puppies who settle naturally into home life, form strong bonds with their families, and show an easy blend of confidence, affection, and adaptability. A beautiful blend for Therapy work, and various family dynamics.
One family shared, “He’s the best. We weren’t prepared for how charming he is. We expected him to be like a totally normal puppy… psycho!” — Kobe’s mom.
Another wrote, “Emmy is smart, spunky, playful, a cuddly lovebug, and adapts easily to any situation. She loves both kids and dogs, big and small. She is up for any adventure or just to nap in your lap. She is the absolute perfect dog for our family!” — Emmy’s mom.
We’ve also heard from families about the thoughtful foundation these puppies received in their early weeks. One shared, “Training has gone remarkably well… he has been wonderful with crate training, loves his crate, and has settled beautifully into our home. He’s become a little adventure buddy, and it’s clear he was thoughtfully and intentionally prepared for life with his new family.” — Pete’s mom.
Because we were so pleased with this pairing, we retained Athena (Miss Pink) as a hopeful future River Days mom. Now one year old, she has earned her Canine Good Citizen title and will continue through maturity and health testing as we thoughtfully evaluate her future in our program.
For this repeat pairing, we anticipate puppies who are deeply people-oriented, confident, and easy to live with. Puppies who naturally want to be part of the family, whether that’s joining in everyday life or settling quietly at your feet at the end of the day.
Puppies are expected to mature between 25–35 pounds with beautiful wavy fleece coats. This pairing may produce black, chocolate, caramel, and apricot, along with possible phantom and tuxedo patterns. We are not accepting color or pattern requests, as we look forward to celebrating each puppy as an individual.
We couldn’t be more excited to bring Isla and Brody together again. This is a pairing we know well through experience, and one we believe in deeply, and not just because of the dogs themselves, but because of the lives these puppies are already living in their families’ homes. It’s a joy to continue that story.
Maci and Spike

~ Therapy and Service Dog Lines~
We are excited to announce the pairing of Maci and Spike, a combination we believe will produce puppies with the loving temperaments, beautiful structure, and strong health foundations that River Days families cherish.
Maci is a sweet, gentle girl who thrives on human connection. Affectionate, intuitive, and deeply devoted to her people, she brings a calm and loving presence wherever she goes. Coming from a line of Certified Therapy Dog parents and earning an OFA Hip Final rating of Excellent, Maci embodies the temperament and quality we value so highly in our program.
Spike complements her beautifully. Though our smallest sire at just 14 pounds, he is rich in all the qualities we love. Calm, affectionate, and wonderfully balanced, Spike is happiest simply being near his people. Spike also earned an OFA Hip Final rating of Excellent. His steady temperament, social nature, beautiful structure, and gorgeous coat make him an exceptional representative of the Australian Labradoodle breed.
Together, Maci and Spike are expected to produce puppies that are affectionate, people-focused, and highly trainable, with the gentle, intuitive temperaments that make amazing family dogs and strong therapy prospects. We anticipate happy, confident puppies with playful personalities and excellent “off switches”, equally ready for adventure or a cozy evening at home.
Puppies are expected to mature in the 16–26 pounds range, with beautiful wavy fleece coats in apricot and caramel. Tuxedo patterns, solids, and solids with white splashes are possible.
We are incredibly excited about this pairing and cannot wait to watch these special puppies grow. We believe this litter will carry forward some of the very best qualities of the River Days program. ❤️
Lainey and Tyke

Lainey and Tyke are expected to honeymoon in late September. Puppies are anticipated in late Nov. and will go home in Jan 2027.

Lainey and Tyke are a special pairing of two exceptionally sweet and affectionate temperaments. Lainey is cheerful, confident, and devoted to her people, with a gentle nature and a particular tenderness toward children. Tyke is calm, intuitive, and wonderfully snuggly, with an easygoing personality that makes him an absolute joy to live with. Together, they bring complementary qualities that we believe will create lovely, balanced family dogs with an abundance of affection and a wonderful connection to their family.
Puppies are projected to mature between 12–22 pounds and are expected to have beautiful wavy fleece coats in shades of apricot and caramel. Solid coats and solids with white splashes are possible. With the exceptional temperaments behind this pairing, we are especially excited about the potential for puppies who are affectionate, confident, adaptable, and deeply connected to their families.

We are thrilled to announce the pairing of Violet and Roux, a combination we expect will produce puppies with joyful personalities, deep devotion to their families, and the intuitive temperaments that make Australian Labradoodles so beloved.
Violet is the perfect blend of sweetness and sparkle. Happy, social, and full of personality, she has never met a stranger and quickly wins over everyone she meets. Coming from some of our happiest and most social lines, Violet is affectionate, confident, and highly people-focused. Her playful nature, eagerness to learn, and unwavering devotion make her a wonderful representative of the River Days program.
Roux complements her beautifully with his calm, loving, and deeply intuitive nature. He forms strong bonds with his people and has a remarkable ability to provide comfort simply through his steady presence. Gentle, affectionate, and emotionally attuned, Roux embodies the qualities we value most in our breeding program. His soulful temperament and devotion to his family make him truly special.
Together, Violet and Roux are expected to produce puppies that are social, affectionate, and highly connected to their families. We anticipate happy, confident puppies with playful personalities, excellent trainability, and strong potential for therapy and emotional support work.
We are incredibly excited about this pairing and cannot wait to meet these puppies. We believe this litter will combine the very best of Violet’s joyful spirit and Roux’s gentle heart, creating amazing family dogs who will enrich the lives of their future families for years to come.
Puppies are expected to mature in the 28-38 pounds range, with beautiful wavy fleece coats in apricot, caramel, chocolate and black. Solids, and solids with white splashes are possible.
Juliet and Jett

~Exceptional Temperaments & Proven Service Dog Line (Jett)~
We are delighted to announce an exciting upcoming pairing of our sweet Juliet and handsome Jett!
Juliet is one of those girls who makes herself at home in everyone’s heart. Sweet, affectionate, and blessed with impeccable manners, she has a gentle, loving temperament that makes her a joy to be around. Whether she’s snuggling on the couch or just keeping her family company throughout the day, Juliet has a natural way of making ordinary moments feel special. Following her first beautiful litter, we are excited to see her become a mother once again.
Jett brings a wonderful complement to Juliet’s gentle nature. Outgoing, joyful, and endlessly affectionate, he thrives on connection with both people and other dogs. He lives with his wonderful host family, the Howertons, alongside his River Days brother Marley, where he enjoys an active, social family life. Jett has a confident, engaging personality and an enthusiasm for life that we believe will pair beautifully with Juliet’s sweetness and easygoing disposition.
Coming from a strong therapy and service dog lineage, Jett has already produced offspring pursuing some remarkable paths, including an active hearing impairment service dog and another as a mental health service dog. These are encouraging examples of the potential we value in our breeding program: intelligence, emotional steadiness, adaptability, and a natural desire to connect with people. Jett also holds an OFA Excellent hip rating, another quality we appreciate in this handsome boy.
What excites us most about bringing Juliet and Jett together is the balance of their temperaments. Juliet’s gentle affection and lovely manners, combined with Jett’s joyful confidence and social nature, offer the potential for puppies who are deeply people-oriented, adaptable, and eager to be part of everyday family life. We believe this pairing holds wonderful promise for exceptional family companions, including puppies who may have the temperament and aptitude for future therapy or service work.
Puppies are expected to mature between 22–32 pounds, with beautiful fleece coats in black and chocolate, potentially featuring solid, tuxedo, white-splashed, phantom and sable patterns. We cannot think of a pairing that could bring more unique pattern possibilities. It will be fun to see!
We are thrilled to bring these two wonderful dogs together and look forward to watching their puppies develop into the loving, connected companions we strive to raise here at River Days.
Josephine and Paddock

~ Therapy Dog Lines~
We are incredibly excited to announce a very special planned pairing for Josephine and Paddock, and it’s an especially meaningful pairing for us because this will be Josephine’s retirement litter. And, if you’ve ever had the privilege of raising or spending time with a Josephine puppy, you know how special they are!
Josephine is one of those dogs who leaves an impression. Born right here at River Days to our beloved, Coco (now-retired) and Bear, she is a third-generation River Days girl, carrying forward the temperament, structure, and social confidence that we have worked so intentionally to preserve in our program. Her dad, Bear, is a Certified Therapy Dog; and, Josephine’s natural people-oriented and empathetic temperament show that the solid foundational temperament for such work is definitely an inherited quality!
She is sweet, confident, relaxed, and exceptionally people-oriented. Josephine has a gentle temperament and a natural intuition for connecting with people of all ages. She adores her human siblings, loves being included in family life, and has yet to meet a person she wouldn’t happily cuddle. Her gentle, attentive, and empathetic nature is such a natural fit for therapy work that her host family plans to pursue her Therapy Dog Certification after her retirement.
For Josephine’s final litter, we chose Paddock because of the qualities seen in him and his puppies. At just 15 pounds, Paddock is a small-mini with an incredibly easygoing temperament. He is cuddly, smart, engaging, and wonderfully balanced. His puppies are naturally low-key, and adaptable. We chose this very special boy with Josephine’s temperament firmly in mind. Our hope is to complement the qualities we love so much about her: her gentle nature, confidence, intelligence, and people connection, while bringing forward the easygoing, low-key, cuddly qualities consistently seen in Paddock’s puppies.
We have high hopes of retaining a puppy from this litter for our own River Days program. Josephine is the perfect representation of River Days, and we would be honored to have one of her puppies carry her legacy forward into the next generation. We don’t have to imagine what a Josephine puppy might be like. We’ve watched them grow up…

We anticipate miniature puppies in chocolate and caramel fleece coats, solid and solid with scant white splashes, maturing 15–25 pounds. Most importantly, we anticipate puppies who are deeply people-oriented, affectionate, confident, and easy to live with, puppies who want to be part of family life but have the ability to settle and relax.

Our puppies are raised in our home, by our family!
Depending on the timing and size of the litter, our set-up may be slightly different from one litter to the next. Nonetheless, we are flexible to accommodate our moms and puppies, which is a required skill-set for a responsible breeder. Click on the YouTube link below for an inside look!
