Puppy Transition Camp

Health-tested Australian Labradoodle puppy enjoying early socialization and enrichment activities.

Our Puppy Transition Camp price is $650/ week, and available to our puppies 8-12 weeks old.

Introducing Puppy Transition Camp! This vital 2-4 week program is designed to help your new puppy adjust smoothly to a new home environment with early developmental support in several important areas. We focus on key skills, including independent crate time / sleeping (overnight and daytime naps), early leash introduction, “sit”, and refined manding to enhance bite inhibition and jumping impulse. Age-appropriate vaccinations will be administered by our licensed veterinarian, with costs included in the program.

Our camp prioritizes healthy socialization, allowing your puppy to interact with new people, and participate in new experiences in a supportive setting. We also emphasize age-appropriate house training to aid in good potty habits as your puppy integrates into family life, all through gentle, positive reinforcement.

By the end of Puppy Transition Camp, your puppy will have developed essential skills for a smoother transition to their new home or for continued training in our Advanced Puppy Training program. This experience fosters individuality, helping your puppy grow beyond litter dynamics and embrace their unique personality. Ideal for first-time owners or families seeking an easier transition, our camp offers a structured and supportive start for your new four-legged family member.

Results may differ based on the duration of participation and each puppy’s developmental readiness. We utilize a gentle, respectful approach, guiding them through the process while honoring their unique needs.

Welcoming a puppy into your home is the beginning of a learning journey for both you and your dog. While we thoughtfully provide a strong foundation, it’s important to remember that your puppy is still a baby and is continuing to grow, learn, and mature. At this stage, puppies are not yet developmentally ready to be fully house trained, consistently quiet, or completely reliable when left unsupervised. Gentle vocalizing, such as crying, barking, or whining, is a normal part of puppyhood, and moments of high energy, impulsiveness, or occasional mischief are to be expected. These behaviors are not setbacks, but natural steps in your puppy’s development. With patience, consistency, and loving guidance, these early challenges ease as your puppy gains confidence and maturity.

For families who desire an extraordinary start, we offer a limited number of Custom Puppy Packages each year. These select puppies remain with us beyond the traditional go-home age, allowing months of individualized development under our care. Through carefully curated experiences, advanced socialization, confidence-building, and age-appropriate training, each puppy is thoughtfully prepared for a seamless transition into family life.

Our focus extends far beyond obedience. We are intentionally shaping a dog with the emotional stability, resilience, social intelligence, and manners that distinguish an exceptional 4-legged family member.

Each puppy benefits from:

• Our highest standards for health, temperament, and breeding excellence

• Extensive socialization and real-world exposure

• Confidence-building and emotional resilience development

• Age-appropriate foundations in obedience and household manners

• Individualized training tailored to your family’s lifestyle and goals

By approximately 5 months of age, these young dogs have received hundreds of hours of intentional investment, creating a foundation that cannot be rushed and is difficult to replicate. The result is a remarkably prepared puppy whose upbringing has been as carefully considered as their genetics.
